9.00h - 10.00h Phytology & Origin (Botanic) origin breakdown of the coffee plant varieties, distrubtion areas, differences of coffeee species and -varieties
10.00h - 12.00h Cultivation and harvesting methods of cultivation in different countries, plantation care and -work, harvesting methods and yield, harvest time in different countries
12.00h - 13.00h Lunch (not included in workshop fee)

 

Afternoon

Processing - drying - export processing - grading & scoring - transport - defects of green coffee - roasting

Information about coffee preparation, drying an export porcessing. Presentation of defeccts of green coffee and classification. Introduction into the roasting process during the roasting.

 

13.00h - 14.00h Processing and drying processing procedures and taste influences, drying process and storage of green coffee
14.00h - 15.00h Export porcessing processing steps before exporting green coffee
15.00h - 16.00h Green coffee classification grading and scoring from green coffee, green coffee defects and sensorical influences.
16.00h - 17.00h Coffee roasting brief introduction into the roasting process, roasting stages, roasting profiles and their sensorical influences.
